What you type
Names, bottom-row labels and settings are processed inside your browser. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts.
Result links
When you press Copy result link, the address that is created contains your list, the settings and the seed after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of an address to a server, so we never receive it. Anyone you give the link to can read the list in it, so share it only with people who may see those names.
What is stored on your device
The site saves the following in your browser’s localStorage, and nowhere else:
pick.list: the list you typed, so it is still there next time and on the other tools.pick.history: your last 30 results (tool, time, a short summary and the result link, which includes the list used; very long links are left out).pick.sound: whether sound is on or off.pick.lang: that you closed the language suggestion or chose a language, so the suggestion does not come back.
Clear list above the list removes pick.list, and Clear results under each tool removes pick.history. Clearing site data in your browser removes everything.
Ads
This site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and other ad vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Because of these ads, third parties such as Google may place or read cookies in your browser and collect information through web beacons (tiny invisible images). See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings. We do not use separate analytics tools.
Fonts and server logs
The page loads its font from jsDelivr, a public content network, which receives your IP address like any web request. The site is served by Cloudflare, which may briefly keep basic request logs such as IP addresses to run the service securely. Neither receives your list.
